Table of Contents
The External Relations Team's primary focus is to build relationships with other GDSC chapters in North America, especially in Ontario. This team will be active in the GDSC North America Slack workspace, stay up-to-date with other GDSC activities, and forward external announcements to our club.
External Relations collaborates with other GDSC McMaster U Core Team members on events run in partnership across GDSC chapters.
External Relations may also work with local communities and organizations outside of Google, such as tech companies in the Hamilton area. Additionally, this team may seek sponsorship and funding from local communities and organizations. This funding, along with other funding, will be used for expenses, such as our website domain registration, events, special guests and speakers, and equipment for workshops.
