About

This Team will organize and run social events, hack nights, game nights within our club, as well as casual coding events that invite DSC and non-DSC members to code together or work on side projects together. In general, this team works to inspire students to code through various initiatives and events where students can code together with others.

Examples of potential events are:

• DSC Monthly/Weekly/Bi-Weekly Casual Code Nights that would bring students together (virtually) to casually code, work on side projects, and learn new coding skills from peers.
• Side projects initiative to help students work on technical side projects by setting up times to work together and helping them find peers to work with on projects.

This Team is also in charge of promoting the Google Developer Clubs Solutions Challenge Projects within our community and to help create teams of students to compete in this challenge. Learn more about this here: https://events.withgoogle.com/dsc-solution-challenge/

This team may help organize teams of up to 4 students who are in our club to work on a project to compete for this annual contest. This team can provide mentorship, resources and guidance to teams wishing to compete.
